A BBC TV presenter, marine biologist, travel writer, public speaker and diver, Monty also conducts courses and trips out of his shop in Dartmouth, exploring the local environment.

Monty has been passionate about the oceans and wildlife for as long as he can remember. He has written seven books, presented programmes for the BBC, ITV, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, is in demand throughout the UK as a public speaker, and yet remains quietly convinced that people only ever tune in to see the dog.

Monty has been speaking on the conference, and after dinner circuit for the last decade, and has gained a reputation as an extremely dynamic, thought provoking, amusing presence on the podium.
