Tim Stimpson is a retired Rugby Union player who played domestically for teams including Newcastle Falcons, Leicester and Leeds. Tim also played 19 times for England and represented the British Lions on the 1997 tour to South Africa.
Tim was the first player to win five successive Premiership titles and helped Leicester Tigers to win back-to-back Heineken Cup titles in 2001 and 2002. He then went on to play for Leeds Tykes, before hanging up his boots in 2006 to pursue a career in coaching.
Tim's experience in both playing and coaching gives him an insight into both careers, making for great anecdotal stories about the highs and lows of professional sport- on and off the field.
