As anchor for ITV Central Tonight in the East Midlands, Sameena covers the broadest spectrum of news across the nation.

Originally a scientist working towards a BSc in Physiology and Chemistry Sameena was diverted into the media and began her journalistic career.

Previously with BBC Midlands TV and BBC GNR, Sameena worked for the BBC in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Nottingham, presenting documentaries for 'Inside Out' and the network series 'East' whilst working as reporter/presenter for BBC Northwest Today and Midlands Today.

She has presented for Radio 5 Live, BBC Asian Network, BBC GMR, BBC WM and BBC London.
