"Just a quick note to thank you for your help in supplying us with Mick last Friday.

He was absolutely brilliant and really contributed to a great night. Please can you pass on my thanks to him. I'm sure we will have him back in the future."

Karl Chadwick, Stand Cricket Club

"Just to let you know that Mick was superb on Friday night.

He read the crowd superbly and delivered a routine exactly as needed. Plus he then proceeded to help me drink far too much port.

Please pass on my sincerest thanks, for his company and my hangover."

All the best.

This year they had Mick Monroe from Southbank (where the Samaritans are ex – directory.)  I must admit I’d never heard of him before – but give the lad his due – he was funny and…..original. "Mick Monroe is a star of the future.

Evening Gazette

"I am sure you have heard already, both John Bentley & Mick Monroe were brilliant, what a combo. Everbyody left with a smile on their faces. Please tell them both well done, they were great."

John Duck, York RL Ex Players Luncheon

Mick Monroe was great company at the dinner and a genuinely funny guy.
He went down very well with the members and pitched his material perfectly for our night.
I will also say there is no rush in him to get off once he has been paid he stayed and had a chat for a while which to me shows genuine character.

Thanks for your e-mail.Mick Monroe was good and read the audience well. The average age of our guests varied from mid30's to late 70's and i got positive comments from those I asked. This year we had 6/7 ladies in our audience, the younger ones were fine, but I detected that the ones aged 60+ were perhaps slightly uncomfortable, but it is sold as a Sportsmens dinner and this is the first time we have had so many female guests.
