Rt Hon Lord Lawson of Blaby is the former Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1983 and 1989.Upon the election of Thatcher's governement, Lord Lawson was appointed the position of Financial Secretary of the Treasury. He served in Thatcher's government from 1979 to 1989 and entered the House of Lords in 1992.
Lord Lawson is also the founding Chairman of the Global Warming Policy Foundation and is former Chairman of Oxford Investment Partners and the Central Europe Trust Company Ltd.
