Jason Mohammad joined the BBC in 1997 as a reporter for BBC Wales Today before becoming the anchor of Wales on Saturday. In 2013, he became the host of Final Score on BBC One. He is the presenter of Scrum V on BBC 2 Wales and the secondary snooker presenter for the BBC.
Jason Mohammad regularly fronts BBC coverage of football, snooker and rugby. He also co-hosts Crimewatch, covering updates on cases the show is following, as well as being one of BBC Wales’s best known presenters.
Jason’s morning radio show on BBC Wales is one of the most popular in the country, and reflects his background in news presenting and journalism. On TV he’s presented Wales Children in Need, Wales Sports Personality of the Year, coverage of rugby, football and athletics, and has also fronted factual and documentary programming, including for the Welsh language channel S4C. He’s also written a book profiling his sporting heroes.
A confident, experienced live host, Jason is also an entertaining after dinner speaker with tales of what happens when the cameras are off, the hazards of live broadcasting, and stories of film and sports stars.
