 Meet The Team

Roger Davis Image

ROGER DAVIS, - founder of the original agency, Roger Davis Associates, has spent his life within the entertainment industry. In the 1960s, he was a prolific member of many iconic bands playing the club circuit across the North of England and had chart success with the TV theme, The Sky’s The Limit.

He went on to work at various entertainment agencies before setting up the business in 1989. Roger is responsible for the development of our computer booking system, (which has since been sold to over 100 fellow agencies and is a recognised brand leader), and splits his time between maintaining office relationships and continually developing the technical side of the business.

Mark

MARK DAVIS - the son of Roger and Margaret, left Accountancy firm Grant Thornton to join the business in 1994. He manages the day to day running of the office and oversees all new enquiries as well as looking after a number of key accounts. With a keen passion for most sports, Mark formed After Dinner World in 1996 in order to develop the sporting speaker side of the business. He is currently studying a business degree to keep him up to speed on latest developments.

He is a founder member of the After Dinner Speakers Agents Association - formed in order to ensure consistent work ethics amongst fellow members involved in the after dinner speaker markets.

Margaret

MARGARET DAVIS - has been with the company since inception and heads up the accounts department. She also provides administrative support to the office and is a daily point of contact.

Outside of the office, Margaret is an experienced tap dancer and is heavily involved in the local amateur dramatic scene.

 

Chantal

CHANTAL CHARNOCK graduated from Manchester University in July 2014 with a BA(Hons) in Ancient History.  Unable to decide on which career path to choose, several years after working here on a part time basis, she is now a senior sales manager, and first point of contact for our new clients and liaising with our existing ones.

 

 

 

MELISSA BATEMAN works in an associated company within the office and is likely to be the first point of contact when calling the office.

MARY ROWELL is our part time administrator and classic car fanatic.

 

EMILY WARD  manages our website and social media campaigns.

 

Jasper

JASPER is one of our office dogs and is a Cavalier King Charles. Despite a desire to spend most of the day sleeping under a desk, he still accepted his promotion as head of security at our HQ and ensure most issues go unnoticed.

 

 

 

 

MaisyMAISY is the latest addition to the office and can usually befound rustling under papers, behind a monitor or stealing cups of tea! She is our front of house meet and greet and will be the first point of contact for visitors to the office, though she is a grown Shih Tzu now.
